History of Kodama

Inspired by the ancient Japanese notion of Kodama, which are spirits believed to inhabit trees, and said to bring good fortune into a home when trees are repurposed with respect and care.

Handmade in Texas

Each Kodama Charcuterie Board or Kodama Holder is a unique, handcrafted, functional work of art, created in Dallas, Texas by DHV ARTWORKS for OLIVIA RIEGEL.

Care Instructions

· Clean with soap and water, then wipe dry with a soft cloth.

· To preserve its beauty, use care with sharp objects. Small scratches can be polished with food-safe beeswax.

· Store in soft cloth, or wrap in paper (avoid plastic or bubble wrap as it will alter the surface of the wood).

Shipping and Returns
  • SHIPPING: Retail ground orders over $50 ship free from our Dallas, TX warehouse to USA addresses. Please allow up to 1-2 weeks. We will ship sooner if product is ready early.
  • RETURNS: If your OLIVIA RIEGEL product does not entirely meet your satisfaction, we will gladly refund your purchase, exclusive of delivery charges and any discounts applied, within 60 days from the date of delivery.
  • INTERNATIONAL: We do not accept international returns. However, if your item arrived damaged/defective, please email us at orders@oliviariegel.com, and include your order number and photos of any defects/damages.

Kodama Packaging

Most Kodama pieces are shipped inside a cloth dust bag to protect the board in shipping. You may also use the bag for storage between uses, though we suspect you'll choose to display these stunning creations instead.
